Nails Inc Juicy Sheers: "Henley Regatta" & "Chelsea Flower Show"

I never thought I'd be a fan of sheer nail polishes. I've always loved bright and opaque colours, but since I laid my eyes on these two on a random post I read (sorry, I just can't remember which one it was), I decided sheer would be my next obsession.

These two nail polishes are just BEAUTIFUL.
They are also scented, by the way! Henley Regatta (once dry!) smells like strawberries, and Chelsea Flower Show like oranges. I never thought I'd like scented nail polish, but I LOVE it (weird, right?)

The colours are sheer but intense. By this, I mean that once you've layered three coats on your nails, the colour is definitely bright but you can still see your nail underneath. As I said, I like this polish on short nails best. But, really, I'm a short nail lover, so I wear every nail polish with short nails.

Would you give sheer nail polishes a try?

My nail polish collection

In the past months, I've become a nail polish magpie. I kid you not if I tell you I have around 45 (give or take) nail polishes in my stash, and I have ordered 7 more that have to arrive soon.

Yes, I have a terrible addiction, and it's a problem.
My idea is that, (if I'm able to), I will give the polishes I don't use to my girl friends. But it's quite probable also that I won't be able to part with any of them. You know, "just in case" I might use them later.

So, if you have a problem with nail polish like I do, then maybe you'll like this post, where I will show you swatches and comparisons of every nail polish I own and group them together with those in the same colour family.

Hope you like <3

Have you got a huge nail polish collection you're ashamed of but love at the same time too?

Love,

Models Own "Fluro Orange"

I've never worn too many orange things, but I find bright orange nail polish VERY flattering.

Nothing like Harry Potter, but I definitely recommend this book, it's full of magic and enchantment. You'll want to live in this monochrome circus.

Nails Inc Juicy Sheer in "Henley Regatta" & "Chelsea Flower"

Two beautiful sheer nail polishes in pink (HR) and orange (CF), from BeautyBay.
I think these look much better with short nails than with longer nails.

What are YOU doing right now? :)

Summer's nail color

Hello everyone! :)

Just 18 days for me to finish my exams and be FREE, yay! Meanwhile, I'm leaving this summery nail combo with you guys, so that you can marvel at the brightness, and the fact that I didn't spend any more money on nail polishes (thank god, you might think!)

This is two coats of Nails' Inc "Hedonist" (reddish-orange) and a very thin layer on top of Nails' Inc "Bubblegum" (PINKPINKPINK), both neon colors. I reviewed both of them in a previous post, check that out in case you haven't already.

As I said in that same post, I expected Hedonist to have a pinky tinge, and it failed me in that sense, so I decided to put these two together, and... voilà, THIS was the shade I was lusting after!

Hope you guys like this combo,
will see you soon hopefully, wish me luck with my exams!

Love,
Maria.

Nails Inc 'Baker Street': a love story

Hello everyone :)!
I remember telling you guys that I had finally ordered Nails Inc 'Baker Street' on BeautyBay. It arrived some days ago, but I wanted to try it out first to tell you how well it has performed and how much I like it (or not, I want to keep the mystery).

This is my beautiful friend, 'Baker Street'. Now, I don't remember the street, from when I visited London, but the nail polish is definitely something to remember!
This cobalt blue is a TRUE BLUE, dark but still very bright, intense but still very wearable, and I think this color will suit absolutely anybody, even if you're the palest (like me) or have the darkest skin!

The tip wear has been minimal in 4 days of use, but I consider that no chipping after the 3rd day means that this polish is very good quality. The top and bottom coat (I use the same product for both: KIKO's Shine Top&Bottom Coat) is a very important step which helps maintain the quality of the color and shine, as well as the time of wear, but I think the product itself always has a say in it too.

The veredict?
I am in love. If you love blues, then why don't you have this already? If you don't normally wear bright colors but are tempted anyway, why don't you have this already? I can't stress enough how much I adore this nail polish, and I'm really glad I bought it! It looks good with ANY nude or black or white clothing (which is mostly what I like to wear), and it can be pulled off quite amazingly with bright colors too.

Are you trying to decide if you should buy it or not? Is it worth it or not?
IT IS, GO BUY IT! RIGHT NOW!

[I don't work for Nails Inc or anything, it's just an amazing color and I just want everybody to know about it! It's a hidden affair I want to make public!]

Love,
Maria.
